Our process

A structured review before any proposal

No high-pressure sales and no mystery pricing. Fíor starts with the home details, compares the real options, and helps you choose the path that fits the numbers.

  1. Match call

We start with a 20-minute call. Zip code, utility, monthly bill range, roof notes, and a few questions about how you use power.

By the end of the call, we know which market conditions, partner paths, and address details are worth reviewing further.

  2. Design and quote round-up

When the address qualifies, we send your specs to vetted partner installers and bring the best-fit proposals back to one table.

You see panels, inverter brand, production estimate, financing structure, total price, and service handoff side by side.

  3. Proposal review

We walk you through each proposal in plain English: what is real, what is assumed, and which tradeoffs matter for the home.

This is where the broker advantage shows up. You compare equipment, production, payment structure, and partner fit before choosing a path.

  4. Selected installation

The installer you pick handles permits, the utility application, roof prep, and the install itself.

Fíor stays involved from kickoff to inspection so questions have a clear route instead of getting lost between parties.

  5. Activation and handoff

Permission to Operate lands, the system begins producing, and the monitoring path is clear before the project leaves the install phase.

After activation, Fíor remains a first call for service handoff questions and helps route the right partner when something needs attention.

From quote to kilowatts

The timeline is not one-size-fits-all. Utility, permits, inspection, financing, and partner availability set the pace

Frequently asked

The questions every homeowner asks

  • Why do you compare multiple installers?

Different installers have different overhead, equipment relationships, financing partners, and service models. The same home can look different across proposals, so comparing is the point.
  • Are the installers vetted?

Yes. We review partner fit by state requirements, address coverage, workmanship standards, financing paths, and after-install service handoff.
  • Do I pay you extra to broker?

The partner installer compensates Fíor through the project economics. We explain the quote in writing before you sign, including equipment, financing, estimated production, and fees.
  • How long does the whole process take?

Timeline depends on utility, permits, inspection, financing, and installer availability in your market.
